New Form of “Omnipresent” Data Retrieval to be Featured at CES
AuraOne Systems to Demonstrate Award Winning Wireless and Media Retrieval Technology
SAN JOSE, Calif. – AuraOne Systems Inc., a leader in software technology for wireless transmission of streaming audio/video, today announced that it will demonstrate Anywhere Data Retrieval (ADR™) at the 2006 Consumer Electronics Show’s Sands Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada which takes place January 5-8.
ADR is an end-to-end digital multimedia client/server-based cross platform software suite. This patent-pending, proprietary software is designed to provide optimized bi-directional media sharing and instantaneous VoD - Video on Demand and AoD - Audio on Demand to both wired and 802.11x based wireless IP enabled consumer electronic devices.
With ADR, consumers can use their existing wired or wireless home network to share and access live cable/satellite feeds, DVD and CD collections, Digital Pictures, Videos and Music. This revolutionary technology not only makes it possible for consumers to simultaneously access live HD and DVD quality content in all corners of their home, it allows them to retrieve their home entertainment content from anywhere in the world.
In addition to ADR, AuraOne will also demo AuraGrid, an award winning wireless extension system designed to maximize wireless signal strength in large homes and businesses. AuraGrid has already been given a CES Innovations Honoree Award for the unique manner in which it solves the problem of weak and inconsistent wireless coverage in large buildings and complexes.
